Express Kid secured his latest victory by an impressive 6 1\/4 lengths in the $300,000 Springboard Mile Stakes at Remington Park on December 20, achieving a career-best 85 Beyer Speed Figure with a gate-to-wire performance. This win earned him 10 qualifying points for the Kentucky Derby.<\/p>\n
With three wins in five career starts and earnings totaling $236,902, Express Kid has demonstrated versatility. He made his debut at four furlongs on July 3 and finished second in the Prairie Meadows Freshman Stakes over six furlongs on August 16. He also has a turf win around the second corner.<\/p>\n
