Chelsea are reportedly set to miss out on AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, who has reached a verbal agreement on a new contract at the San Siro.<\/strong><\/p>\n The France international shot-stopper had previously been the subject of approaches from Chelsea, but they were unable to agree a deal during the summer.<\/p>\n See below. Fabrizio Romano posted on X a few months ago about the Blues working on signing Megnan, and today he posted an update saying the player is close to signing a new deal with Milan…<\/p>\n “AC Milan and Mike Maignan have reached a verbal agreement on a new contract until June 2031! Although formal steps need to be taken, the signing of the French goalkeeper, whose contract expires in June 2026, will be done properly.
