Ruzewski was also a race strategist for Will Power.<\/p>\n<aside><\/aside>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Kyle Moyer, general manager who has worked at Pensk for 11 years, is the third and final executive to lose his job.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A presentation from Roger Penske stated: &#8220;Team Pensuke today announces the organization&#8217;s departure from IndyCar Team President Tim Sindrick, IndyCar Managing Director Ron Lzevsky and IndyCar General Manager Kyle Moyer.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cTeam Pensuke will be announced more this week in connection with this week&#8217;s exchange for Indianapolis 500 personnel.<\/p>\n<aside><\/aside>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThere is nothing more important than our sport and race team integrity.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWe have had organizational failures over the past two years, but we have had to make the necessary changes.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;We apologize for letting our fans, our partners and our organization down.&#8221;<\/p>\n<aside><\/aside>\n<h2>Team Pensuke at the heart of the Indy500 controversy<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">During 12th qualifying on Sunday, a car belonging to Pensuke Driver&#8217;s New Garden and Power failed a technical inspection due to illegal changes to the rear attenuator.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Indycar decided that, as well as financial punishment, Newgarden and Power must start the race from behind the 33 grids.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Cindric had already eased liability after last year&#8217;s &#8220;push-to-pass&#8221; violation at the 2024 season opener.<\/p>\n<aside><\/aside>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">However, this week&#8217;s controversy expanded after footage of Penske&#8217;s 2024 Indy 500 victory car appeared, and then featured an attenuator that is deemed illegal.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The president of IndyCar&#8217;s Doug Boles was forced to deal with these photos of the Newgarden victory car.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Team Penske fired from other major figures in the IndyCar paddock.<\/p>\n<aside><\/aside>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">McLaren&#8217;s Zach Brown questioned their &#8220;integrity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Chip Ganasi argued that his team should be held to even higher standards given that Roger Pensuke owns IndyCar and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Scott Dixon was one of several drivers to inform their unfortunate feelings.<\/p>\n<aside><\/aside>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It is even controversial that Pensuke&#8217;s punishment could have been worsened.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Rather than starting both cars from behind the grid, Rinus Veekay claimed he was 33, claiming that Penske should be forced to take part in the last chance qualifier.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As a result, one of their cars would be out of competition at all on the Indy 500.<\/p>\n<aside><\/aside>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tim Cindric is shown with Team Penske&#8217;s doors as fallout continues from the Indy 500 qualifying debate.
