How the wives of past champions made the Masters dinner<\/h2>\n

For years, the wives have been entertained by political fundraiser Bradford Freeman, who requires little persuasion to join him at the flamboyantly dressed table in Augusta National’s clubhouse dining room.<\/p>\n

George W. Bush calls him Bradley. His friends named him “Fargo.” Stanford University claims he is the largest donor to football.<\/p>\n

At Augusta National, the North Dakota native earned another title: host.<\/p>\n

For years, Freeman anchored the dinner, which was held at the same time as the Champions Dinner and followed a little later. Due to health reasons, Freeman will not be attending the wives’ dinner this year. Frank Anderson will serve as host in his place.<\/p>\n
