But for players like Tommy Fleetwood and Cameron Young, this event means finding the big career-defining win that has eluded them so far. Fleetwood heads into his first major of the year full of confidence, having finished in the top 10 in four of his last five starts. Young, on the other hand, will enter the 2026 Masters fresh off a win at the Players Championship. <\/p>\n<p>The 2026 Masters begins on Thursday, April 9th \u200b\u200bat Augusta National Golf Club. The 2026 Masters odds list Scheffler as a +500 favorite to win, followed by DeChambeau (+1000), Rahm (+1000) and McIlroy (+1300). This same model was successful at a whopping 16 majors entering the weekend, including the 2025 Masters, which will be the fourth consecutive Masters, and last year&#8217;s PGA Championship and British Open Championship. <\/p>\n<p>Now that the 2026 Masters field is confirmed, the model has simulated the tournament 10,000 times and the results are surprising. Visit SportsLine now to see the predicted leaderboards. <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2026_Masters_predictions_for_Scottie_Scheffler_Rory_McIlroy_and_Jon_Rahm\"><\/span>2026 Masters predictions for Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>One pick from the 2026 Masters model: Rahm (+1000), the 2023 Masters champion and one of this year&#8217;s favorites, had another strong showing in the Green Jacket, but ultimately fell just short. Rahm has historically played his best golf at Augusta, finishing in the top 10 five times since 2018. He already has one professional win this season and hasn&#8217;t finished lower than fifth in any event this year, so the model expects him to contend at Augusta, giving him a 10.5% chance of winning it all and a 41.3% chance of finishing in the top five. <\/p>\n<p>The model also locks in predictions for odds-on betting favorite and two-time Masters winner Scheffler (+500). Scheffler has 20 career wins on the PGA Tour, including a win at the American Express in January. However, Scheffler will enter the 2026 Masters having failed to finish in the top 10 in each of his past three starts on tour. He still ranks first on the PGA Tour in birdie average (5.38) and scoring average (68.33) and has finished fourth or better in three of his past four starts at Augusta National. He also has top-seven finishes in each of his past five starts at major championships, which is a big reason why he&#8217;s the betting favorite this week. <\/p>\n<p>The model also examined McIlroy&#8217;s chances (+1300) of becoming the fourth golfer to win back-to-back green jackets. The Irishman has only played in three PGA events this year, finishing runner-up, 14th and 46th. He competed in 62 competitive rounds at Augusta National, posting a career scoring average of 71.45, which ranks third all-time (minimum 50 rounds) and best among this year&#8217;s competitors. But McIlroy will need to find his putting touch if he wants to join the club that has won the Masters twice this year.
