The 26-year-old World Cup winner is an anomaly for the Spanish club and there is no doubt he can transform Arsenal in attack. Alvarez has 20 goals and nine assists this season.<\/p>\n It remains to be seen whether the Gunners have the financial wherewithal to make a deal and can persuade the player to join the club. They are well placed to win the Premier League title this season and have also reached the UEFA Champions League final.
