Arsenal are reportedly preparing to approach Aston Villa over a move for Morgan Rodgers, while there are also updates on Ayyoub Bouadi and Jeremy Monga.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It could be a busy summer for the Gunners, but they appear to have Villa and England attacker Rodgers firmly set as one of their top priorities.<\/p>\n

This is according to the Evening Standard, who report that Arsenal are close to a \u00a310m deal for Leicester City star Monga, while the north London giants are also in talks for Lille midfield star Bouadi.<\/p>\n

Arsenal fans will be looking forward to more reports on the club pursuing Rodgers, who finished the 2025-26 season with 14 goals and eight assists in all competitions.<\/p>\n

The England international can play as wide left or as a number 10, both of which are possible if Mikel Arteta strengthens his side.<\/p>\n

How can Arsenal line up deals for Morgan Rodgers and Ayyoub Bouadi?<\/h2>\n

Of the names on the shortlist, Rodgers and Bouadi are the only ones likely to break into Arsenal’s starting lineup immediately.<\/p>\n

Still, it’s not clear exactly what the AFC’s lineup will be, with Rodgers looking like a significant upgrade over Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard on the left, but Martin Odegaard’s fitness and form is also a concern.<\/p>\n

Bouadi probably won’t start many games right away, but he has shown great potential recently and could be a good option to partner Declan Rice in midfield from time to time…<\/p>\n
