This followed an excellent domestic season with Al Qadosia, in which he scored 37 goals in just 35 games.<\/p>\n<p>It was then Raul Jimenez who gave the hosts complete control at the Estadio Azteca, scoring just nine minutes later to seal his side&#8217;s place in the round of 16.<\/p>\n<p>The Wolverhampton Wanderers forward barely contained his emotions as he scored against South Africa. El Tri has never made it past the quarter-finals of a World Cup, so history could be in store with just two more wins.<\/p>\n<p>While many were inspired by the virus-induced celebrations, the Mexican government announced the sad news of three deaths on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mexican-government-confirms-multiple-deaths-in-world-cup-celebrations\">\n                        <strong>Mexican government confirms multiple deaths at World Cup celebrations<\/strong><br \/>\n               <\/h2>\n<p>An official statement from Mexico City&#8217;s public health secretary confirmed that a 44-year-old man, a 19-year-old woman and a 48-year-old woman died of suffocation near Reforma Avenue in the city center.<\/p>\n<p>Clara Brugada, Mexico City&#8217;s executive secretary, wrote on her X account: <em>\u201cAs reported by @SSaludCdMx, Mexico City emergency teams immediately responded to reports of three unconscious people at various locations near Paseo de la Reforma. All medical response protocols were activated, but unfortunately they lost their lives.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We are in contact with their families and are providing them with all the support and companionship they need. We offer heartfelt hugs and send our deepest condolences to their loved ones.
