<span role=\"presentation\"><u>Google play<\/u><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The France international has one year left on his contract at Selhurst Park and Brown believes his former manager Oliver Glasner is looking to take him to new club Forest.<\/p>\n<p>Manchester United are also reportedly considering Mateta as one of their back-up plans up front, but perhaps a club like Forest may be more likely to sign the 29-year-old.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jean-Philippe_Mateta_hints_at_possibility_of_leaving_Crystal_Palace\"><\/span>Jean-Philippe Mateta hints at possibility of leaving Crystal Palace<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Speaking to Football Insider about Mateta&#8217;s future, Brown said: &#8220;Crystal Palace may be powerless regarding Mateta&#8217;s future this summer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Given his contract situation and the idea that he wanted to move in January, he could be presented with an offer he can&#8217;t refuse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe buzz at the moment is Nottingham Forest, they are interested in signing a new striker and Mateta would tick a lot of boxes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s scored goals in the Premier League, so that instantly upgrades the current options and it&#8217;s interesting that Glasner will also be playing in the Premier League.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Want more catchoffside coverage?
