concerns several seasons of alleged violations of financial regulations.<\/p>\n<p>City deny any wrongdoing, but the continuing judgments create uncertainty over the club&#8217;s future.<\/p>\n<p>Maresca insists the situation has not influenced his approach.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Manchester_City_manager_denies_concerns_over_115_charges\"><\/span>Manchester City manager denies concerns over 115 charges<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Maresca was asked about the charges in his first press conference as Man City manager and made it clear he was focused on football rather than legal speculation.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by Fabrizio Romano, he said:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;One thing I can say is, I was here three years ago during the Treble season and I said the same thing about this. Three years later, it&#8217;s still the same.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Nothing happened.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cPersonally, I have no concerns.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>His response reflects the city&#8217;s position throughout the process that business will continue as usual until the independent commission makes a decision.<\/p>\n<p>Maresca also has first-hand experience of the environment, having worked on Guardiola&#8217;s staff during the treble-winning 2022\/23 season.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Questions_about_fees_persist\"><\/span>Questions about fees persist<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>While the manager&#8217;s confidence is understandable, broader issues remain unresolved.<\/p>\n<p>talkSPORT reports that the hearing concluded in December 2024, but a verdict has not yet been published.<\/p>\n<p>The case was initially said to involve 115 alleged violations, but has now been widely reported to total 130. The city continues to deny all charges.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Maresca is right not to allow his first weeks in office to be dominated by legal proceedings outside of his control.
