He could develop into a solid long-term signing for both clubs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It&#8217;s no secret that Liverpool need more depth in their defense. Ibrahim Konate left the club on a free transfer and Joe Gomez is extremely injury-prone. Liverpool need to invest in another central defender and the 20-year-old could be the ideal player.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The player&#8217;s transfer fee is thought to be around 55 million euros, and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool are prepared to pay that amount. Jertsch is a young player with little proven ability yet, and his asking price is extremely high.
