Charles Watts believes Morgan Rodgers is a “exceptional” talent that can make a great signing to Arsenal, but he doesn’t know how possible the deal is.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Aston Villa star shines in the Premier League, and it seems like it’s only a matter of time before he gets a move for even bigger clubs.<\/p>\n Rodgers finished the 2024\/25 season with 14 goals and 12 assists in all competitions. There’s more to come from the 22-year-old former Middlesbrough Ace.<\/p>\n The Times report links Rogers as the name Arsenal sees, but one of the problems with Watts is his position.<\/p>\n Rodgers can play a variety of roles, but Watts points out that he played his best football mostly in the mid-route role of Villa’s central offense.<\/p>\n For now, the Arsenal team actually doesn’t have any space in that area of \u200b\u200bthe pitch, so the gunners are likely likely to sign Rodrigo Goes and Nico Williams.<\/p>\n “Morgan Rodgers’ link was interesting as he’s definitely an exceptional player,” Watts said.<\/p>\n \u201cArsenal saw it in person last season, especially in games at Villa Park at the start of the campaign, when they gave them all sorts of issues.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat we can expect is that Aston Villa has not been able to qualify for the Champions League, which may make it difficult to have to navigate this summer.<\/p>\n “Rogers is one of the players mentioned as a potential departure, and it’s not surprising given the way he has developed since his move from Middlesbrough.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen it comes to Arsenal, I think he would be a welcome addition if they are interested in something more specific.<\/p>\n “But one of the issues that have potential moves is that we don’t know exactly where this team and the system fits under Mikel Arteta.<\/p>\n “I’m sure they’ll find a way to suit him, but it feels like a square peg in a round hole.<\/p>\n “I don’t see him as the left winger at all.
