Jota, 28, and his brother Andre Silva, 25, tragically lost their lives in a car accident near Zamora, Spain, early Tuesday morning when their vehicle veered off a remote highway. Since the news surfaced, tributes have been pouring in globally, with Oasis dedicating their sold-out show at Principal Stadium to the brothers.
The funeral for Jota will take place Saturday morning in Gondomar, Portugal. Following the Cardiff concert, Oasis will continue their tour with five nights in Heaton Park, Manchester (July 11, 12, 16, 19, and 20), followed by performances in London and Edinburgh in July. The tour will extend for another 26 dates, concluding in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on November 23.
