  • Martin Odegard,
  • Arsenal is relieved after the latest updates

Arsenal is handling a big set-off ahead of their trip to Anfield this weekend, with Bukayosaka expected to sit as hamstring problems remained in their 5-0 victory over Leeds United.

According to the BBC, England International was kicked out in the second half with the Emirates, suggesting that he could take action for around three weeks.

The timing of the injury is particularly frustrating for both the club and the country. Saka will not only lack Arsenal’s highly anticipated showdown against Liverpool on Sunday, but will also miss England’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.

Martin Odegard,

Saka’s absence is exacerbated by the uncertainty surrounding Martin Odegard, who is also suspected of traveling to Mercyside.

The Arsenal captain retreated against Leeds in the first half after knocking on the shoulder. Witnesses reported that the Norwegian midfielder was visibly uncomfortable as he left the pitch, and he later left the stadium with his arms supported by a sling.

Despite the worrying scenes, there is cautious optimism within Arsenal camp.

Club sources have shown that Odegaard’s problems may not be as serious as initially feared. A slow fitness test is likely to determine his availability for Liverpool, but medical staff believe neither he nor Saka will face long-term spells on the bystanders.

This situation provided at least some relief to Arsenal, especially given their fierce schedule in domestic and European competition.

With the international break approaching, the club hopes that both players can use pauses to help recover and limit the number of games missed.

Still, the possibility that two of Arsenal’s most influential players are potentially absent prior to their trip to the defending champions is of great concern for manager Mikel Arteta.

Sunday’s clash at Anfield could prove important in the Premier League title race, with Arsenal eager to be as close to the full strength side as possible.
