A few years ago, Tommy Fleetwood teamed up with TAG Heuer and the Briton wore the company’s connected golf watch at several events. Now, it looks like TaylorMade and TAG Heuer may have a new relationship as they announce the TAG Heuer Connected Caliber E5 45 mm x TaylorMade Edition ($2,550). It’s part of a collection that includes the Spider ZT x TAG Heuer putter and co-branded accessories such as TaylorMade x TAG Heuer duffel bags, hats, and golf gloves.

This watch is the star of the show and is more than just a golf enthusiast’s watch. This is the watch for those who want their golf watch to look like it can be worn in the F1 paddock, the club’s private locker room, and on the first tee at 7:40am.

The TAG Heuer Connected Caliber E5 is a grade 2 titanium smartwatch designed to perform on the course and look sleek afterwards, but the ubiquitous golf touch isn’t particularly fussy. The bezel is engraved with 18 holes, the crown features the TaylorMade logo, and the blue leather and black rubber strap features a white centerline and silver stitching. Additional stretch textile straps are included in the box, which comes in handy if you don’t want to sweat on dressy straps during a humid July round.

The smartwatch runs on TAG Heuer OS and is designed to automatically register shots and positions during a round, eliminating the need for players to tap the screen after each swing. The data captured is processed through TaylorMade’s performance analytics to provide strokes gained information, giving golfers a better understanding of whether their shots are winning or losing.

Yes, it’s good to see. very nice. But the real takeaway is that the Connected Caliber E5 tells you whether the problem is your drive, approach play, short game, putting, or decision-making.

Battery life is listed at up to 2 days in performance mode, up to 3 days in low power mode, up to 17 hours in sport mode, and up to 12 hours in golf. According to TAG Heuer, a quick 30-minute charge will give you a full day of use.

In addition to the watch, TaylorMade also created the Spider ZT x Tag Heuer putter. It features texturing inspired by the TAG Heuer logo sightline and dial, as well as a premium co-branded headcover, dual logo ball markers and special packaging. Also, like the standard Spider ZT putter, it has significantly reduced torque for increased stability.

The collection, which also includes hats, gloves and duffel bags, will be available from June 25th at tagheuer.com, TAG Heuer boutiques and authorized retailers.
