Henry Cejudo, an Olympic gold medalist and former two-division UFC champion, is set to make his professional boxing debut this Saturday, September 26, facing undefeated prospect and actor Javon “Wanna” Walton in the main event of Misfits Boxing’s return to Miami. At 39 years old, Cejudo is widely regarded as one of the top combat athletes of his generation, having won a freestyle wrestling gold medal at the 2008 Olympics and held UFC titles at flyweight and bantamweight before retiring from MMA for the second time in late 2025. Although he has stayed active in combat sports through Real American Freestyle wrestling, this event marks his first professional boxing match.
Originally, Cejudo was scheduled to fight Misfits Boxing veteran Deen The Great, but Deen withdrew less than two weeks before the fight. The 20-year-old Walton, best known for his role as Ashtray on HBO’s “Euphoria,” stepped in on short notice. Despite his young age, Walton has more professional boxing experience than Cejudo, holding a 3-0-1 record with one knockout, and recently won a unanimous decision against Anthony Mora in September 2025.

In addition to the headliner, UFC legend Tony Ferguson will defend his Misfits Boxing middleweight title against Kenzo Biyong. Ferguson won the interim championship with a knockout of Salt Papi in August 2025 and later unified the title by defeating Warren Spencer in December.
