The match saw some chaotic moments when outside interference distracted the referee, who was momentarily on the apron. During this time, Ospreay accidentally kicked the official before hitting his Hidden Blade finisher on Moxley. Wheeler Yuta then entered the fray to attack Ospreay, and Marina struck him with a briefcase. Despite these disruptions, the referee returned to count a slow pin attempt, only to be kicked in the face by Marina. Alex Windsor and Jamie Hater then answered the call to neutralize Marina with a tag team move.
With a new referee in place, Moxley secured another near fall and executed a series of three DDTs that almost clinched the victory. He attempted to put Ospreay in a pull dog choke, but Ospreay broke free and responded with a Hidden Blade and a Storm Breaker for a close two-count. Ultimately, Ospreay sealed the win by delivering another Hidden Blade.
