Apple TV will offer free live streaming of the entire Bahrain Grand Prix, held in Malaysia, exclusively for Formula 1 fans in the United States during the race weekend from October 2 to 4. US viewers won’t need a paid Apple TV subscription or the usual seven-day free trial to enjoy all the on-track action at the Sepang International Circuit.
This offer is limited to fans located in the US and is part of Apple TV’s efforts to provide free access to certain races in the 2026 season. The complimentary stream will include premium features such as 4K video quality and 5.1 surround sound.
Due to an agreement involving the Bahrain and Malaysian governments, Formula 1, and the FIA, Malaysia will host the Bahrain Grand Prix on Bahrain’s behalf. The original race date in April was canceled because of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. As a result, this event will take place roughly 3,000 miles away from Bahrain’s usual venue in Sakhir, marking F1’s return to Malaysia for the first time since 2017.
Andrea Kimi Antonelli enters the weekend leading the drivers’ championship with a 66-point margin over his Mercedes teammate George Russell.
