Tyson Fury has confirmed that his third bout against unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium in London on April 18, 2026. Fury made the announcement via Instagram on Thursday.

Turki Al-Sheikh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Bureau and owner of Ring Magazine, revealed on Wednesday that Fury’s comeback would happen in 2026. ESPN is currently reaching out to the representatives of Queensberry and Usyk, the promoters involved, for comments on the fight.

Meanwhile, Usyk is set to defend his undisputed heavyweight title against Daniel Dubois on July 19 at Wembley. Fury and Usyk fought twice in 2024, with Fury losing both matches on points.

Previously linked to a potential blockbuster fight with Anthony Joshua, Fury expressed his desire to face Usyk again. “Who would I rather fight now? Usyk,” Fury said to the media, emphasizing his wish for a rematch on UK soil. “I want revenge in the UK. That’s all. I want a fair fight, but I don’t think the last two were fair.”

If a third fight with Usyk does not happen, Fury indicated he would pursue a showdown with Joshua instead, describing it as “the biggest British fight ever,” expecting it to sell out Wembley’s 100,000 seats quickly. Fury is confident that battle would allow him to make a strong comeback, provided the terms are right.

Fan Take: This announcement is huge for fight fans as it sets up a potentially thrilling trilogy that could redefine heavyweight rivalries for the decade. With stadiums like Wembley involved, it shows the global significance and massive fan interest still surrounding these fighters, promising electrifying events for the sport.
