Leeds United are interested in signing highly regarded Manchester City defender Jaden Linuu.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds is locked up in the service of the 17-year-old left-back. Leeds loses Junior Furpo at the expiration of his contract and they need to replace him.
He was an important player to them. It will be interesting to see if they have decided to bring in the Manchester City defender in the coming weeks. Lienou is a talented young player with a bright future. He may not be ready to start regularly in the Premier League yet, but he could be a key player for them in the long run.

Man City exit might be ideal
The 17-year-old needs more opportunities to develop further. Manchester City cannot provide him with the opportunity he needs. The move to Leeds United might be ideal for him. They have done well over the years to groom talented young players and have been able to play an important role in his development.
Lienou is a young talent that can grow into a key player on a team with the right guidance.
Jayden Lienou will become a future asset
The former Everton defender is expected to join the Leeds youth team once the transfer is complete. It will be interesting to see if we can convince Daniel Fark to give him the opportunity for the first team, especially at the Cup competition.
Leeds is looking to improve their team this summer. They have secured promotion to the Premier League and are looking to establish themselves as top flight clubs. They wouldn’t want to return to the championship next summer. They need quality players to keep up. Having the right blend of young people and experience is ideal for them.
West Ham and Leeds are set to fight it for the defender with “extraordinary quality”
