Novak Jjokovic reaches Mens-Record 14th Wimbledon semi-finals

Novak Djokovic reached the Wimbledon semi-final to break Man’s Records’ 14th tie with Roger Federer.

No. 22 Koboli was three years old when 38-year-old Djokovic made his main draw debut at Wimbledon 20 years ago. The 23-year-old Italian never reached week two of the majors before the tournament.

Meanwhile, Djokovic will appear in his 52nd major semi-finals.

For Djokovic, who served the opening set at 5-3, but was broken by love, not everything went smoothly. He was later a point from owning the set before Kobori passed. And at his second match point, his right foot slid out from under him, splitting as he descended into the grass and landed on his stomach.

However, after two points, the victory was complete.

Previously, Djokovic did some stretching and breathing exercises with a changeover. He slammed the shoes with his racket after one mistake in the fourth set. He seemed to be troubled by the bright sun above the center court at times.

He also accumulated 13 aces and showed off quite a bit of skill, whether he holds 19 of his 21 service games. You’re using a drop shot drop shot combination to earn one point or limit it to 22.

Just as Djokovic rivals the Federer male mark of the eight Wimbledon Trophy, there is a tough job coming against Thinner, the three-time Grand Slam champion who won the last four meetings in the semi-finals last month. Again, Djokovic was 2-0 against the All-England club sinners, beating him in the 2023 semifinals and the 2022 quarterfinals.

This was the seventh straight Wimbledon to Djokovic in the semi-finals, matching Federer (2003-09) with a long streak by any man since 1968.

ESPN research and Associated Press contributed to this report.
