Jorge Mendes offers Aston Villa Heroes to Mancity and Barcelona

Aston Villa aims to make major changes to its team over the 2025-26 season, with many alternatives to it. Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio followed the loan spell later in the previous campaign to Mann United and Paris Saint-Germain respectively, but neither would be asked again.

However, Aston Villa has the opportunity to re-sign either player if they want. However, in Asensio’s case, despite his significant impact at Villa Park last season, another chase is unlikely to occur.

However, his return to the Premier League could be on Asensio’s cards, which have no future in PSG.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Sport Witness), PSG offers Asensio to several clubs, including Man City and Barcelona. Both clubs may be competing with Inter Milan in the race as the Serie A Giants register interest on a recent day.

The problem is that Man City shows no indication that they are interested in the move, but deals with Barcelona can also be awkward. Asensio is a former Real Madrid player, he is unlikely to accept this move. Also, the La Liga champions are not very enthusiastic.

PSG hopes Asensio’s impressive Loan Spell at Aston Villa will have him registering eight goals and one assist in 21 appearances, with a permanent transfer completed by the end of the summer.

For now, I don’t know where Asensio will end at the beginning of September. At one stage, Aston Villa was able to rekindle their interest, but that seems unlikely.
