Scott Redding has expressed uncertainty about his racing plans beyond the 2025 season but is determined to complete the 2025 World Superbike (WorldSBK) season. After a strong start with three top-five finishes at the Australian WorldSBK round in February, Redding has found it challenging to consistently place in the top 10 since the competition returned to Europe in March, only achieving this four times in the last five events.

There have also been questions about the future of the MGM Bonovo team, with rumors suggesting difficulties in hosting the Emilia-Romagna round in June. Despite these challenges, Redding remains focused on finishing the 2025 season, though his plans after that are still unclear.

“Next year, I don’t know,” Redding told worldsbk.com ahead of the UK round. “It’s a tough situation to figure out. The goal is to finish the 2025 WorldSBK season.”

Regarding the upcoming UK round, Redding aims to secure a top-10 finish with the MGM Bonovo Ducati. “I’m really excited,” he said. “Donington always offers a fantastic atmosphere, and the weather looks great.” He reflected on Phillip Island, saying it was tougher than expected because everyone had the same amount of testing time on a track the team doesn’t usually visit.

“Coming back to Europe, we knew it would be tough. I pushed hard to get testing done at Portimao, but it didn’t happen, which made things harder,” he added. “I typically do significant testing on bike setup during race weekends. While we don’t reveal our true performance, the top 10 is where I need to be.”

For fans, his journey underscores the unpredictable and challenging nature of superbike racing, making every race weekend an exciting and vital part of the championship narrative.
