Manchester United are interested in signing Botafogo goalkeeper John Victor during the summer transfer.

Manchester United need more quality and depth in that area of the pitch, and Goal Brazil’s report claims they are willing to pay his release clause.

Botafogo is already considering a potential alternative to the 29-year-old goalkeeper. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can close the move right away.

Man United need another goalkeeper

They need more depth in that area of the pitch, and the Brazilians could prove to be an ideal acquisition.

He had quality and experience, and John Victor was able to compete with Andre Onana for the starting spot. The African goalkeeper recently picked up a hamstring injury, and he missed the preseason. Victor was able to fill out for him. The Brazilian goalkeeper is trying to establish himself as a Manchester United player.

Last season, Onana was a very disappointing experience. South America will certainly fantasize about a chance to take his spot in the starting lineup. He has demonstrated his abilities in Brazil and has a quality that thrives in the UK.
