Justin Marks established Trackhouse Racing in 2021. The team has already achieved significant success, winning 10 Cup races and finishing second in the championship. They have also competed at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and partnered with Aprilia to launch a MotoGP team.
Marks, who is an accomplished driver himself, will be showcasing the No. 87 Red Bull NASCAR Cup Chevrolet at the 2025 Goodwood Speed Festival, scheduled from July 10th to 13th. This long-standing event in West Sussex, England, which started in 1993, has grown to feature a variety of vehicles from across the globe, including NASCAR stock cars. Last year’s festival saw Richard Petty’s Plymouth Superbird participate alongside Kyle Petty.
“This is a tremendous honor for both Trackhouse Racing and NASCAR,” said Marks in a team statement. “NASCAR recently held its first points race in Mexico in recent history, which was a great success. Growing our global fan base is a shared ambition in the sport, and there’s no better venue than the Goodwood Festival of Speed to do that.”
Marks boasts an impressive racing resume with nine IMSA driver titles and a win in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He has competed in six Cup races, including the 2018 Daytona 500, though he has yet to drive the next-generation NASCAR vehicles.
Fan Take: This development marks a progressive step for NASCAR as it continues to expand its global footprint and engage new audiences. Justin Marks’ presence at iconic racing events like Goodwood promises to elevate NASCAR’s visibility and prestige on the international stage, which is exciting news for fans looking to see the sport grow beyond traditional borders.
