Arsenal was keen to sign a £60 million “superstar” after Gyoker

Arsenal has been blessed with a wealth of incredible talent over the years.

The report revealed that Dutch International is eager to leave RB Leipzig this summer, and alongside London rival Chelsea, Gunner is “considering an approach” for him.

The story claims that a 22-year-old would cost more than £60 million, and it’s not a cheap deal to get it done.

Arsenal’s love for the player appears to be on the rise at first glance with Fabrizio Romano, as he reports that the gunner is “eager” to land him, in interest from the blues.

Well, before the pitchfork and torch are out, this is known to be a big statement. Many fans believe that Bergkamp is one of the best players he has played for Arsenal, second only to Henry.

However, while it will take a little while to get closer to what Simons achieved in North London, there are some unmistakable similarities between the pair.

Finally, it’s another case where the club brings exciting Dutch attackers from the top European leagues, someone who appears to be able to make things happen on their own as things stand.

Ultimately, he wasn’t at the level where Bergkamp was at his peak today, but there is an undeniable similarity between Simons and the legendary magician.
