Real Madrid forward Endric is projected to be sidelined until mid-September, according to ESPN sources following yet another injury setback.

The 19-year-old Brazilian international has struggled with numerous hamstring issues recently, causing him to miss the conclusion of the La Liga season and the Club World Cup.

His last appearance for Madrid was against Sevilla on May 18, where he sustained a right hamstring injury.

Although it was initially believed he would miss the US tournament, he joined the team’s training camp before experiencing another hamstring setback.

Reports indicate that his recovery has regressed, putting him out of action for an estimated eight to ten weeks.

Sources claim Endric is effectively restarting his recovery process.

He is now expected to skip the first four matches of Madrid’s La Liga campaign against Osasuna, Real Oviedo, Real Mallorca, and Real Sociedad, as well as the first international break when Brazil faces Chile and Bolivia.

Despite interest from various clubs, ESPN suggests it is improbable that Endric will leave Real Madrid this summer during the transfer window.

He plays alongside stars Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, even as competition intensifies in Madrid’s forward line following Gonzalo Garcia’s impressive performance, where he scored four goals in the Club World Cup.

Coach Xabi Alonso expressed hope that Endric will eventually contribute to the team this season, referring to his progress as a “natural process.”

Last season, Endric served primarily as a substitute, accumulating 354 minutes in 22 La Liga appearances, scoring once, along with a goal in the Champions League and five in the Copa del Rey.

In the world of soccer, this news is pivotal for Real Madrid fans, as Endric’s absence will affect the team’s attacking strategy without key players like Bellingham. It also underscores the importance of player fitness and depth in a squad during a competitive season, which could influence their success in domestic and international competitions.
