The Wolves hope to sign a quality signature this summer after Nelson Semedo’s departure.

The defenders left the club after refusing to sign a new deal with them. Signing quality right away is a priority for wolves and it will be interesting to see who they become. Meanwhile, Semedo is a free agent trying to secure a move this summer, according to football insiders.

He was a key player for the wolves, and the 31-year-old was captain. It would be interesting to see if they could properly replace him. Last year, the Wolves had a disappointing season and barely survived the Premier League. They hope to get better with future campaigns and need to have quality players at their disposal. They are extremely vulnerable defensively last time and need to bring in quality defenders.

A reliable right-back will not only help them improve defensively, but will continue to contribute in the future. It is still unknown how the situation will develop.

Wolves need quality signatures

Wolves will need to insert team gaps during the summer transfer if they want to do well next season. They aim to survive in the Premier League and need better players for that to happen.

The newly promoted clubs are very active in the market and they are looking to improve their teams significantly. Wolves should also stay in touch with their rivals regarding the quality and depth of the sides.

Meanwhile, Semedo will try to join an ambitious club this summer. He has demonstrated his abilities in the Wolves and the Premier League, and the 31-year-old could prove to be a very useful acquisition with a free transfer for most teams.
