Lucas Paqueta will be exempt from claiming spot fixes by the FA, but despite this, West Ham is open to selling him this summer.

Over the past few years, Paketa has been investigating a suspected spot-correction crime, killing a £80 million move to Man City in 2023. During this period, Brazil International struggled with consistency, and the off-field situation clearly affected his performance.

But the good news for West Ham is that this could be about to change as Daily Mail reports that Paqueta is set up to be exempt from fraud. In the process, he avoids a halt. But despite this, the club boss decided he wanted to cash out at the 27-year-old, 27, who made 120 appearances in three seasons at London Stadium.

West Ham will be willing to accept £30 million for Paketa, according to the report. This represents a significant drop from the £80 million that the club got from Man City two summers ago. It also represents the huge loss of £51 million he paid to sign him from Lyon in 2022.

Brazilian giant Flamengo is interested in signing Paketa, but for £30 million, there are many clubs across Europe trying to make a move for the attacking midfielder. In this regard, West Ham could be dominated by a barrage of offers in the coming weeks.

It is still unknown if Paqueta’s move is underway, but it is unlikely to arrive before an official announcement regarding the FA investigation. West Ham continues to make efforts to improve Graham Potter’s team ahead of the new Premier League season, so they welcome the funds if they come.
