On Tuesday, the signing of Welsh international striker Kiefer Moore was officially confirmed.

Moore has joined the Welsh club on a three-year deal from Sheffield United for a reported fee of around £2 million ($2.6 million), according to a source for ESPN.

This marks the eighth signing of the summer for the club.

“I’m eager to get started and contribute to the team,” Moore stated.

“I aim to be a seasoned leader and significantly impact my teammates. My strong work ethic will be a key asset as I help the team progress.”

Previously, Moore had stints at Ipswich Town, Cardiff City, and Bournemouth, where he scored a goal that helped Bournemouth earn promotion back to the Premier League in 2022.

“We’re excited to welcome Kiefer to the club,” said Phil Parkinson, head coach of Wrexham.

“His wealth of championship and international experience will be instrumental, and I look forward to collaborating with him.”

Moore joins the ranks of Danny Ward, Ryan Hardy, Libert Kakers, as well as midfielders George Thomason and Lewis O’Brien.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s ownership group has also brought in Josh Windus and defender Connor Cody, who transferred for £2 million from Leicester City.

Moore has made 14 appearances for the Welsh national team out of 49 and will now continue his career with the Welsh club.

They will kick off their championship season on August 9th against Southampton after achieving three consecutive record-breaking promotions.
