Everton is looking for reinforcements for their forward line to build on the momentum he built when he rejoined his team last year.
Toffee had pushed to sign Tyler Diveling, a young star boy from Southampton, but negotiations between the two seem to have collapsed. Diling was one of the only bright sparks at Southampton last season, earning only 12 points.
When the transfer window opened, clubs like Manchester United were interested in dibbling, and the saints wanted the winger to have an astronomical £100 million, but price demand has since declined. Everton reportedly bids on young people, starting at £27 million, with the final bid being a potential add-on of £8 million plus £35 million.
Southampton sent out £45 million and £5 million add-ons and a 25% selling counter offer. This was clearly more than Everton would be willing to spend, so they now set their sight elsewhere.
Everton turns his attention to the meat plants as Lone talk begins
Following a deadlock with Southampton, on dealing, Everton turned his attention to Jack Grail. Following a drop in game times at Manchester City last season, it was revealed that a move from Etihad could be on Glaesh’s card, with David Ornstein reporting that the club is in talks over a “complex” loan agreement.
England International joined Manchester City from Aston Villa in 2021 for £100 million, but he never met the expectations that came with the villa’s success or price tag.
Like last season, he was promoted as a “generational talent” by urban legends like Shea, but his creative talent and ball control led to comparisons with superstars like Osmane Dembele and Ramin Yamal.
The main issue from a financial standpoint is Grealish’s wages. Everton’s current highest-paid player is Jordan Pickford, who is £125,000 a week, bringing less than half Grail’s wages to under £300,000 a week.
Grelish vs. Divive
Everton may be walking away from his Diling contract. Southampton may make them consider lowering the asking price. In that case, Moe may have the ability to choose the player, dive, or grail-ish thing he would rather sign.
In terms of target involvement, both players had very similar seasons, but Everton fans, close to the level of Everton fans, had nothing to expect from the two players, who were previously valued at £100 million.

Grealish leads Diling to get involved in goals, but he appeared easily among two jobs as he was appearing for the city side, who had just won four consecutive Premier League titles that Divive had played on the second team in Premier League history.
The biggest difference between the two is their career trajectory. Dives is a young man who has shown many promises, yet still unproven, and Grealish has proven that he can do it at the highest level, but that’s whether he can return to that level of form.
