The Milwaukee Brewers have introduced their fans to the quirky eating habits of their manager, Pat Murphy. During a recent interview, Murphy amused everyone by pulling a pancake out of his uniform pocket and sharing it with a reporter. This spontaneous act sparked excitement in Milwaukee, leading the team to announce that “Murph’s Pocket Pancakes” will be available for purchase at American Family Field during Sunday games for the remainder of the season.

Since Murphy’s pancake stunt last week, the Brewers have remained undefeated, boasting a Major League best record of 70-44. Murphy continued to enjoy pancakes during postgame press conferences and revealed other snacks he keeps in the dugout, including waffles and pizza. When questioned about carrying pizza slices without staining his uniform, Murphy explained that folding cold pizza like a sandwich works perfectly, and that his hoodie pocket often ends up full of breadcrumbs.

Fans can now buy “Ball 4 Pocket Packs,” which include four pocket pancakes served with maple syrup or strawberry compote for $4.99. There’s also a “Double Chicken ‘n’ Pancakes Pocket Pack” priced at $7.99, featuring chicken pancakes topped with bacon bits and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Fan Take: This fun and unexpected connection between the manager’s quirky habits and fan engagement adds a unique flavor to the baseball experience. It proves that baseball is not just about the game but also about the community and light-hearted moments that bring fans closer to the team.
