Tottenham manager Thomas Frank needed more offensive options ahead of his first full season rep, and he was now able to hand over the opportunity to welcome the Man City star to the N17.
Over the course of a week, the Spurs lost two major outlets in the future.

Lily White’s legendary son Hyun Min officially completed his move to LAFC earlier this week, putting an end to his sparkling decade of spells with the Spurs.
The 33-year-old last captained the captain in his hometown soil in a preseason clash with Newcastle last Sunday, and Seoul fans have said emotional farewells from one of the greatest players of all time.
It was an emotional moment. Rap of honor, a stadium singing his name, but the reality is clear – Tottenham now must face life without their amulet.
While his son’s departure for MLS is a groundbreaking moment for him personally, for the Spurs, Frank now has to deal with it without both the behind-the-scenes and catastrophic advances of his day leader.
With 454 appearances, Winger’s 173 goals needed to be replaced, and Tottenham is no longer with playmaker James Madison for most of the campaign to insult the injury.
Last weekend, Madison faced Newcastle and suffered the same knee injury that kept him out at the end of last season. The scan then confirmed the worst – a ruptured ACL. He is currently planning to undergo surgery and will miss most of the 25/26.
For Frank, who plans to build an offense at England International, that’s a big set. Madison was one of the standout performers on the side when appropriate and available, and when the Spurs desperately lacked creativity in the middle.
The club is currently expected to accelerate plans to sign an attacking midfielder before the windows close, with Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott among the Spurs’ potential No. 10 targets.
Tottenham provided the opportunity to sign Man City Forward Sabigno
According to journalist Graeme Bailey, TBR football writer Mancity Forward Savigno was submitted to North Londoners who were weakened by agents.
Brazil International, who can operate on both sides, also played as a cam at the sporadic points last season. That means they lost to Salford City and Al Hilal in the FA Cup in the Shock Club World Cup.
Tottenham, according to Bailey, is being offered Savinho by an intermediary, which is a “interesting” opportunity that they could be seduced.
“Savinho came out in conversation and was placed in Tottenham,” the reporter said.
“At this point, Savigno is not expected to leave the city, but he is a player who has come to like the Spurs and could be an interesting option if he becomes available.”
The 21-year-old joined Pep Guardiola’s side last summer, earning 13 assists in all competitions.
He was in and out of the starting eleven towards the end of the 24/7 Premier League season. Sabigno can keep an eye on this as they were guaranteed to have more game time at Tottenham in the aftermath of the lack of attack.
