Atlético Madrid has officially signed forward Giacomo Raspadori from Napoli, as announced by the club on Monday.
The Italian international netted six goals in 26 Serie A appearances last season, contributing to Napoli’s title victory.
Raspadori has penned a five-year deal with Atlético and has already joined the first team this summer.
He will be joining new teammates Alex Baina, Johnny Cardoso, David Hanco, Thiago Armada, Matteo Laggeri, and Mark Publi at the Metropolitan Stadium for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Atlético is aiming to enhance their performance for the 2024-25 season, having finished third in La Liga and being eliminated in the Round of 16 in both the Champions League and Copa del Rey, along with an early exit from the Club World Cup.

Diego Simeone’s side won their most recent preseason match 2-0 at St. James Park on Saturday.
Raspadori began his professional career at Sassuolo before moving to Napoli in 2022. During his time there, he was part of the Italian squad that won two Serie A titles and the Euro 2020 championship.
