West Ham United will be interested in signing Club Bruges midfielder Rafael Oniedica this summer.

According to journalist Sacha Tabolieri, they hope to bring him in as the replacement of Edson Alvarez, who is heading to Fenerbahce. The Nigerians have done very well with Club Bruges in Belgium, and proved to be a quality acquisition of West Ham.

Onyedika was linked to West Ham a few months ago.

The hammer requires more quality and depth in the middle of the park, and Onyedika could prove to be an ideal addition. He protects the defensive forces and helps disband opposition attacks. The midfielder has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League, and he could turn out to be a very useful signature for the London Club.

The opportunity to move into the Premier League is extremely exciting for players. It was a big step in his career and he would try to prove himself at the highest level. West Ham could be an attractive destination for him, and it is still unclear whether he will follow up on his initial interest with an official offer to close the transaction.

The players certainly want to move into the Premier League. It represents a major step in his career, and he aims to establish himself at the highest level. If he can make an impression in the UK, he may even get an opportunity to play for even bigger clubs in the future.

The London Club certainly has finances to complete the transfer, and it is still unclear whether they will follow up on their interest with an official proposal to the Belgian Club. Club Bruges doesn’t want to easily lose players of Onyedica quality, but if a favorable offer is placed on the table, they could be tempted to sell.
