Celtic takes a slow approach to sign the 6-foot-4-inch striker as an alternative to Adam Ida

Celtic has been rushing to sign the striker before the end of the window, and reports say they may have found an alternative candidate to replace Adam Ida.

Dangerous Celtic Dice in Kasper Dolberg Pursuit

Honestly, Celtic’s transfer window has become an unchanging string of events that threaten to shorten the hoops to the area ahead unless they can capture important targets by Monday’s deadline.

With Adam Ida appearing to be ready for a £7 million move to Swansea City, Boys seemed to be making progress in his attempt to turn his attention to Anderlecht striker Caspadlberg and sign the Denmark International.

However, Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph confirmed that Celtic had failed to find an agreement to move forward with the Belgian club and confirmed that Ida was called to Glasgow in a dramatic way ahead of Sunday’s Glasgow derby.

He states in X:

Additionally, Celtic has submitted a new bid for Hammerby Winger Sebastian Tounakty worth £4.7 million. Brendan Rogers wants to sign two forwards and a new winger before the window closes.

The impact of the shock Champions League exit on Kairat Almaty has caused the Bhoys to fail to effectively strengthen their team this summer, and while complaints are present among the fanbase, supporters are desperate to carry out their business.

However, as the situation for Ida and Druberg has not yet been fully unfolded, a new striker target was added to the mix following the late Celtic approach for his signature.

According to football insiders, Celtic was contacted by a survey surrounding Bristol City striker Farry Mayoroo.

The 23-year-old, who stood at 6 feet 4 inches, spent last season lending at Sturm Graz, helping him win the Austrian Bundesliga title. He also lists Rapid Wien and FC Blau-Weiss Linz among his previous clubs.

Back at Ashton Gate, Mail is also being asked to sign a loan for Leicester City, and after being featured twice for this term from the bench, he is open to a temporary exit.

Johnny Kenny and Yamada remain an impressive Celtic option if Ida manages to seal off the departure, and Daizen Maeda is frequently used centrally by Rogers due to his opportunistic nature.

Nevertheless, it is still unclear whether Mayulu could come into the equation and supporters will be closely watching development over the next few days.
