Liverpool wanted to sign Mark Guech from Crystal Palace during the summer transfer period, but the move didn’t come to fruition.

Liverpool has agreed to a £35 million contract with the London club, and the players have also completed medical care in the Premier League champions. However, Crystal Palace was unable to ensure proper replacements for the defender and decided to pull the deal plug at the last minute.

Will Liverpool be able to sign Mark Guech in January?

Liverpool is expected to return for the defender in the future. It will be interesting to see if he can sign him during the January transfer period. According to Football Insider, players will be able to use it for just £25 million. A 30% discount on the price. Liverpool was happy to pay this summer.

Guehi is one of the best defenders in the league and needs to prove he’s an excellent addition at that price. The relocation could look like a big bargain. Liverpool has enough depth to their team to reach the January transfer period. Signing Crystal Palace Stars during the season represents great business.

The player was the final year of his contract with Crystal Palace and he decided not to renew his deal. He wants to join a bigger club and the transition to Liverpool is his preferred option. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be able to close the move at nominal prices in January.

Or he could secure his services at the end of the season with a free transfer. It would be interesting to see what they do. The Premier League champions need more quality and depth in their teams, and signing Guehi in January could prove to be a wise decision.
