  • Anthony Ralston’s injury update after Rogers puts him in danger

For Brendan Rogers, weeks have been frustrating, and the problem has only been exacerbated by the recent update of the now-injured Celtic player, risking playing the Rangers before an international break.

Much of Rogers’ frustration surrounds the Celtic transfer business. Their 0-0 draw against the old company’s rival rangers summarizing the offensive issues they still need to deal with, and therefore Kelechi Iheanacho has arrived. With the first backup with Rogers since the days of Leicester City, the forwards are desperately needed to make this move work.

The Nigerian was free agent when Celtic was released after a disappointing spell in Sevilla, when Celtic went around his path. At the age of 28, Boys gave him the last chance to get his career back on track.

After welcoming Iheanacho to his side, Rogers spoke to the club’s website, and told Celtic’s official website. “I know Keleci very well, that’s what he can bring to the team. He’s a very talented player, he has excellent abilities, athleticism and power.

“He loves to be in Celtic and I believe our fans love what he brings. He has a great experience and he is right at his peak so he can be a great signing for us. I’m sure he will make a big contribution to the team.”

There is an ongoing debate over whether the forward’s arrival would hand over the boost they were looking for to the Celts, but as it rang out, the Scottish champion was hit undeniable in front of the injury.

Anthony Ralston’s injury update after Rogers puts him in danger

After dropping out of the Scotland team with Kieran Tierney, Anthony Ralston is now an early suspicion of facing Kilmarnock. The defender was thrown at the deep edge and was at risk against the Rangers despite appearing to take a knock a few days ago in Celtic’s Champions League tie with Kerato Almati, and Rogers is struggling with the outcome of that decision.

Given that Alistair Johnston is already on the sidelines with hamstring tears, Celtic is now at risk of a mini injury herself in the right-back spot. This raises questions about why Rogers puts Ralston at risk against the Rangers in the first place.

The manager is certainly a defender fan and told reporters at the end of last season. “People like Tony are really crucial to the culture of this club. He doesn’t play every game, but he’s probably one of the most important players here because of his history with the club.”

Celtic only has 10 days to get Ralston back together. Ready for the Kilmarnock game, considering returning to winning ways with the Scottish premiership.
