Former Premier League striker Gabriel Agbonlahore has denounced West Ham United striker Niklas Fulkrag for his mediocre performance.

The former Aston Villa striker labeled German as a bad signature for West Ham, claiming that the 31-year-old isn’t a good player.

“So they signed Niklas Fullkrag for nearly £30 million,” Agbonlahore told Talksport.

“I mean, he’s running like he doesn’t get his hips. He can’t honestly avoid the pitch. Yes, he did well with the Euro. But he’s not a good player for me. So it was a strange signature.”

The German striker has been having a difficult time since moving to the Premier League. He has scored just three goals in all West Ham competitions, and it’s clear that this move is not going well.

West Ham needs to remove him and bring in an upgrade if they want to do well. Furthermore, Germany’s international needs to start a new start. Leave the London Club is also ideal for him. It remains to be seen whether the parties decided to go their separate ways in January.

Fullkrug used to do well in Germany, but he was unable to adapt to British football. Staying at West Ham makes no sense to him. He couldn’t play at the level of his purpose. A fresh start could help him rebuild his form and confidence.

It would be interesting to see where he ends.

West Ham, on the other hand, has been extremely poor this season and it remains to be seen if they can turn things around. They were fighting for survival last season, and it appears that they may need to indulge in a relegation fight again this season.
