Arsenal reportedly offered a five-year contract to centre-back William Saliba star amid interest from Real Madrid.

France International is an important part of Mikel Arteta’s part, and losing him before he was supposed to be his peak year would be a major blow.

The French are world-class performers alongside Gabriel Magalges in the defense of Arsenal, and have again played a major role in a competitive team in recent years.

Saliba is clearly sufficient at a very top level, and it’s easy to imagine him becoming a real star player.

It is certainly important for the AFC to have Saliba agree to the terms of the new deal, suggesting that the Mercato in the foot is open to the players.

Saliba wants to win the league title and the Champions League, so Arsenal might be sure he can do it even if he doesn’t have time.
