  • Man City is about to sign another new midfielder
  • “Generation” Mainoo will be signed to City’s statement

Manchester City has now exploded into a race for the “intergenerational” £700 million Premier League star.

Man City is about to sign another new midfielder

Man City made a significant improvement in the midfield during the summer transfer window, when the Tijani Rayjunders hit the ground running at Etihad Stadium, earning goals and an assist in the opening game with the Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Sports director Hugo Viana has also praised the Dutch since his arrival. “Last Manchester City has had some great midfielders like Gund and Kevin.

“They were really good, but unfortunately they left, but they’re still a club legend and it’s not easy to trade them, but I think Tijani will be a really important player for the club next year.”

After returning to City for a season, Ilkai Gündouan joined Galatasarai. This means there may be space in the unit where Guardiola brings in another central midfielder.

It was annoyed by a team talk report stating that Man City exploded into the race of Manchester United midfielder Cobby Mine, who has not yet started a Red Devils game this season.

Guardiola is personally a big fan of Mineu and considers the young central midfielder one of England’s brightest prospects, and feels his ability to direct the 20-year-old play can make him a perfect fit for the city.

The Man United Maestro has a market value of around £70 million, and given his great potential, the youngster’s future ahead of the January transfer period is uncertain, alongside Chelsea and Newcastle United.

“Generation” Mainoo will be signed to City’s statement

It’s hard to imagine a United Academy graduate beyond the Manchester division, but the report reveals he’s become unstable at Old Trafford, who was keen to go out on loan during the January transfer period.

City is well aware of how talented the midfielder is given his performance in the 2024 FA Cup final. He scored his second goal in the Red Devils’ surprise 2-1 victory at Wembley, resulting in a Man of the Match Award.

The starlet has also received high praise from his former teammate Rasmus Hozilund. He is currently on loan in Naples, and the striker describes him as a “generational” talent.

So, while Mine- will be a Manchester City signature statement, it seems unlikely that United will be willing to sanction the midfielders moving to their bitter rivals.
