There were rumours that Liverpool could aim to tie him into a new deal. It remains to be seen whether the parties will be able to finalize the contract. Despite immersing himself in his form, the 26-year-old remains an important player at the club. He helped them win the league title last season and was outstanding in the Premier League champions.
Konate needs to bounce back
The defender realizes the fact that he was not at his best and aims to bounce back hard. He’s definitely a quality player. Liverpool will need him to step up and produce better performances.
