  • Duncan Ferguson is aiming for “poor” bets
  • Everton Ready Rectification Movement

Everton, who has already shifted his focus to the January transfer window, is reportedly ready to offer a new exit route.

Duncan Ferguson is aiming for “poor” bets

It’s no surprise that Everton is already paying attention to additional support for the attack. That’s where their biggest weaknesses are. Despite adding Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Thierno Barry, Jack Grealish and others to David Moyes’ side over the summer, Toffees still struggle to find their goals.

Most of that issue was Beto and his overwhelming performance. As Barry is not yet ready to step aside as a starter every week, his responsibility to lead the Moe line, even critical of himself in the early stages of the campaign.

Monday’s 1-1 draw with West Ham made the 27-year-old unable to be moved once again, becoming the subject of Duncan Ferguson’s frustration in his post-match analysis.

“Beto was very poor for me. I don’t remember Everton having many opportunities. Everton was poor in advance. I could smell it in the second half and Everton made some defensive mistakes…”

If Everton is considering going past the bottom half and returning it to where many people feel they belong, signing a Beto alternative in January should be the top of their priority list.

Also, there is no guarantee that Barry will prove his worth yet. The summer arrival began once in the Premier League, with five other appearances from the bench, but there is no behind the internet yet.

Toffee must welcome players at the peak of their power and may have in mind the best players to do that accurately when the winter window opens.

Everton Ready Rectification Movement

As the sports boom reported, Everton is ready to offer Deisen Maeda an exit route from the Celtic in 2026, in his desire to leave the Scottish giant.

Japan International revealed earlier this season that he had agreed with another club before Boys blocked his move in the summer window. Now Everton has managed to make the most of its profits to plummet this winter.

Maeda revealed: “There were a few things I personally agreed to, so I wanted to try. I received the offer and I told the club I wanted to take the next step, but the Celts couldn’t provide good reinforcements so they ended up telling me they couldn’t let me leave.”

The forward, who can also be played as a winger, has yet to replicate the incredible form of last season, finishing with 33 goals and 12 assists in all competitions, but he can once again reach that level.

Everton is called “Brilliant” by Celtic boss Brendan Rogers and needs to do everything to sign Maeda when the January transfer period arrives.
