Manchester United are aiming to sign quality in the coming months, and according to Fichejes they have identified Omar El Hilari as their target.

The 22-year-old Espanyol defender has done quite well in the LA La Liga, and his performance has attracted the attention of Premier League clubs. He had signed a contract with the Spanish club until 2027 and was able to sign for a fee of 25 million euros.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United will follow up on their interest with their official proposal to close the deal. He is undoubtedly the best talent, and he has a brighter future than himself. The asking price is also very reasonable for his potential players. El Hilari could easily justify his investment in the near future.

The opportunity to join one of the world’s biggest clubs is also inspiring for him. The transition to Manchester United is an ideal step up for him. British regular football could help him improve further and fulfill his potential. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United has decided to close the move in the coming months. They have the resources to obtain a contract on an ongoing basis.

They’ve been pretty mediocre this season and they couldn’t hit top shape. They need to improve their teams during the January window, and signing Espanyol’s defender could prove to be a wise decision. He helps them defensively, and he will also contribute in the future.
