Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in signing highly-rated FC Cologne winger Said El Mara.

The 19-year-old has performed very well for the Bundesliga side this season, scoring three goals in the league. He is highly regarded throughout Europe and several clubs are interested in him.

They say El Mara is in demand.

According to a report by Sport1, more than 10 clubs have held talks with the player’s agent in recent weeks. It will be interesting to see if the two Premier League clubs can reach a deal. They will also face competition from Manchester City.

The 19-year-old could be a long-term signing for both clubs. He has the qualities to develop into a reliable Premier League attacker and the opportunity to join a club like Chelsea or Manchester United would also be attractive for him. He will be able to play against world class players in the Premier League and playing regular football in England will allow him to develop further.

Chelsea and Manchester United have had success developing young players over the years and could play a key role in the 19-year-old’s development.

Both teams need more quality and depth in a wide range of areas. They have done a good job of improving their attacking unit this summer, but they could use more cutting edge in the final third. The 19-year-old is great at adding unpredictability to the wing and playing against defenders. He could add a new dimension to Chelsea or Manchester United’s attacking line-up.
