Crystal Palace attacker Crisstantus Uche could leave the club at the end of the season.
Crystal Palace signed the player on loan with an option to buy. This move will be permanent if certain conditions are met. However, the 22-year-old has struggled to earn regular minutes.
Crisstantas Uche is struggling in the game
He has yet to start a single game in the Premier League and Fichajes reports that he is likely to return to Getafe at the end of the season. The Spanish club had hoped that Crystal Palace would sign him on a permanent basis. They are trying to raise funds for his departure. However, his situation at the London club suggests he is not in their plans.
In the summer transfer window, he joined attacking side Crystal Palace, and before that he had impressed in Spain. Few would have expected him to return in 2026 to win the prize. However, that scenario now seems quite likely.
Can Uche play regularly?
It will be interesting to see if the 22-year-old can convince Oliver Glasner to give him further chances in the coming months. There is no doubt that he has the physical and technical attributes suitable for English football. He has proven himself in La Liga and will be desperate to prove himself in England.
He can play as both a striker and an attacking midfielder. His versatility will be a huge bonus if Crystal Palace can get the best out of him. This player is very young and will only improve with coaching and experience. He has the potential to develop into a valuable asset for the club.
