  • A transfer for Fabio Carvalho seems unlikely.
  • Where will Carvalho end up?

Leeds United are rumored to be interested in signing Brentford midfielder Fabio Carvalho.

Carvalho has been linked with Los Blancos in the past, and it will be interesting to see if they make a move to sign him in January.

A transfer for Fabio Carvalho seems unlikely.

However, Graham Bailey believes it is highly unlikely that Brentford will sanction his move to a rival club. The player is likely to return to a European club. Bailey believes a move to Germany is the most likely option for Carvalho.

He told Leeds United News:

“I think they’ll let him go. I think he’ll most likely go back to Europe and back to Germany. I don’t think Brentford would let him go to their rivals. It’s nonsense, really.”

The Brentford midfielder has not been able to live up to expectations since joining the club. He needs a fresh start and a move away from the Premier League could be ideal for him. Technically talented attackers can wear multiple hats. He can play in the center as an attacking midfielder, or on the flanks. He will add goals and creativity to the right team.

While it’s certainly possible that Leeds could bring in a technically gifted player like him, it’s unlikely that Brentford will be reinforcing their rivals mid-season.

It will be interesting to see where Carvalho ends up. The former Fulham and Liverpool midfielder is a promising talent and should aim to join a team where he has plenty of opportunities and support. He will be desperate to regain form and confidence with regular chances in the second half of the season.

As for Leeds United, they need to improve their attacking line-up during the January period and it remains to be seen who they will move to.
