  • Manchester United are keeping an eye on Antoine Semenyo
  • The Red Devils are also looking to sign a new midfielder.

Manchester United have increased their interest in Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo as they continue to identify potential attacking reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian international has been one of the best-performing players in the Premier League this season and has caught the eye of United’s recruitment department with his speed and clinical finishing.

Semenyo has been in great form for Bournemouth, making a remarkable comeback that has seen him become one of the most productive wingers in the league, with nine goal involvements in just 10 games.

His ability to play up front, coupled with his work rate and physicality, has made him outstanding under manager Andoni Iraola, whose attacking system has helped maximize the forward’s potential.

United scouts have closely tracked Semenyo’s development since the start of the season. The club see him as a player who can bring energy, creativity and versatility to the front line.

United are reportedly considering a £60m move in the summer, but a January approach has not been ruled out if the player’s form continues at this level.

However, Bournemouth are reluctant to part ways with their star man midway through the season.

The Cherries are confident of keeping Semenyo until at least the summer, with only major offers considered.

Meanwhile, United’s long-term transfer plans extend beyond Semenyo. Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliott Anderson, valued at around £70 million, has reportedly emerged as a priority target for 2026.

Signing midfielders and wide attackers is on the agenda for next year at Old Trafford, with Semenyo and Andersson being two targets.

Semenyo is also being targeted by Liverpool, who are looking for a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.
