Liverpool are recently reported to be one of the clubs to meet with the agent of Juventus attacking midfielder Kenan Yildiz.

The Turkish international has recently established himself as one of Europe’s most exciting young players and it may be difficult for Juve to keep him.

As previously reported by the Daily Briefing, the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea are also very interested in Yildiz, with a potential move for around €90 million.

Now, reliable journalist Indi Kaira is reporting that Liverpool recently held talks with Jorge Mendes to discuss Yildiz, but a deal won’t be easy for the Reds as they need to sell a high earner first…

The reporter posted this:exclusive Sources say super agent Jorge Mendes met the two British nationals. club for the past few weeks. Understood @LFC This deal will only close if one of the conditions is higher. #lfc The breadwinner is due to retire in the summer. ”

Kenan Yildiz transfer: What’s next for the Juventus star?

Juventus definitely have a very bright future in this game and I’m sure Juventus would like to be able to join them, but it seems difficult to make that happen.

The Turkish international has progressed well in Serie A, and while Juve are a big club, the Premier League has recently become the most attractive destination for top players.

So, while Liverpool could make sense as his ideal next move in the near future, it’s also difficult to see exactly where he would suit up.

LFC signed Florian Wirtz in that position this summer, but things haven’t quite clicked yet, but it’s unclear whether that’s a player issue or Arne Slott’s tactics, and in any case they’re unlikely to give up on such a huge investment any time soon.

United would do well to build around Yildiz, and he could do well to go there to secure a key role and regular playing time.
