Euro giants ready to bet on Man United transfer with conditions

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly ready to bring Jadon Sancho back to the club for a third spell if he leaves Manchester United on a free transfer next summer.

The 25-year-old winger has had a nightmare at Man United, one of their worst failures in recent times considering the amount paid for him and the hype and excitement surrounding his arrival.

Sancho is currently on loan at Aston Villa, but has struggled to play regularly there, and last season was largely a slump, leading to him being loaned to Chelsea.

However, Sancho previously looked like an elite talent as a young player at Dortmund and did well in his second loan spell.

According to Football Insider, the Bundesliga giants are now keen to re-sign him, but only if he becomes a free agent.

Jadon Sancho could leave Manchester United on free transfer

The former England international Sancho’s contract is set to expire at the end of this season, and his time at United appears to be coming to an end.

The Red Devils have the option to extend his contract for another year, but a recent report from talkSPORT suggests they are leaning towards simply letting his current contract expire in the summer of 2026.

Dortmund may be interested in re-signing Sancho if they can get him without paying a transfer fee, but Dortmund are probably rightly considering that too much of a gamble.

Sancho may have shone for BVB in the past, but his recent results have been very disappointing and it’s not really surprising that they aren’t prepared to pay him a transfer fee.

MUFC fans will no doubt be hoping for Sancho to move on as soon as possible. There seems to be little point in keeping him under contract for another year, as moving him and deducting his large salary from his paycheck has proven to be extremely difficult.
